London is gearing up for an authentic taste of Bavaria as Albert’s Schloss, the Bavarian-inspired venue located in the Trocadero, prepares to bring Oktoberfest to the capital from 21 September to 6 October. The event promises 16 days of traditional Oktoberfest fun, complete with iconic beers, delicious food, and live entertainment. With no tickets or entry fee required, Albert’s Schloss is aiming to make sure "everyone is willkommen" to join in the celebrations.

As the only venue in London serving all six of Munich’s official Oktoberfest beers, Albert’s Schloss will feature a lineup of well-known brews, including Höfbrauhaus, Löwenbräu, Augustinerbräu, Paulaner, Hacker-Pschorr, and Spaten-Franziskaner. These authentic beers are synonymous with the Bavarian festival, and guests will have the unique opportunity to enjoy them in a lively and welcoming atmosphere.

A beer lover's dream with unique offers

In addition to the six Oktoberfest beers, the main bar at Albert’s Schloss will also be serving fresh, unpasteurised Pilsner Urquell directly from its tanks. This beer is delivered weekly from the brewery in Pilsen, Czech Republic, ensuring that it retains its fresh, unfiltered taste. For added convenience, guests will be able to use a special table button to order their Pilsner without ever having to leave their seats.

Albert’s Schloss will also give away 200 free pints each day during the festival, adding up to over 3,000 free beers across the two-week event. This generous offer is sure to be a hit with Oktoberfest enthusiasts, creating a festive and communal atmosphere throughout the venue.

Traditional Oktoberfest food and entertainment

The venue will offer a traditional Oktoberfest menu, including hearty classics such as Bavarian Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) and a range of schnitzels. For those looking for vegetarian or vegan options, there will also be halloumi schnitzel burgers and vegan wursts available. The food offerings will complement the wide selection of beers, creating the perfect pairing for a Bavarian feast.

Throughout the 16-day celebration, guests can enjoy Oktoberfest-themed entertainment, including live oompah brass bands and a series of traditional Oktoberfest games. The launch day will feature a special line-up of performances and activities, setting the tone for the fun-filled festival.

A unique venue for Oktoberfest festivities

Albert’s Schloss, which opened its doors in early July, is located in the Trocadero on Shaftesbury Avenue and spans 18,000 square feet across two floors. With space for over 600 guests, the venue features five bars, a stage, and even an on-site Bavarian bakery. As the largest venue in the operator’s portfolio, Albert’s Schloss offers an "alpine oasis of indulgence and pleasure," making it the perfect setting for an unforgettable Oktoberfest celebration.

Whether you're a beer lover, food enthusiast, or simply looking to experience the spirit of Oktoberfest in London, Albert’s Schloss promises an authentic and exciting celebration of Bavarian culture.
