Historic British wine and spirits merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd has released a highly anticipated collection of Scotch whiskies for 2024. The limited-edition range, featuring 25 bottlings from 10 different distilleries, marks the latest installment in the brand’s annual release of curated spirits. This year’s offering is split into two themed series: Glens & Valleys and Coast & Shores.
The release continues a busy year for the 326-year-old merchant, which opened its first dedicated spirits shop in London earlier this spring. Stocking nearly 1,000 global products, the new space underscores the company's growing focus on fine spirits alongside its historic wine business.
A celebration of landscape and cask
The newly released Glens & Valleys collection showcases the diversity and depth of Scotch whisky, with each bottling reflecting the character of the distillery and the region in which it was made. From Speyside to the Highlands, the whiskies represent a sensory map of Scotland’s whisky-producing heartlands.
“You’ll find whiskies that epitomise the distinctiveness of their respective distilleries, alongside the landscape they reside in,” said Felix Dear, Spirits Curator at Berry Bros. & Rudd. “Some have the additional influence of flavour through varied cask finishes. These special editions have been infused with distinct flavours from casks sourced through our long-standing relationships with world-class producers.”
Cask selection is central to the expression of each bottle, with Berry Bros. leveraging decades of trusted partnerships with top cooperages and distilleries to create exceptional finishes.

The Glens & Valleys release, available from 20 June 2024, is highly curated in both content and distribution. Certain expressions are being made available exclusively through the Berry Bros. & Rudd website, while others are destined for selected UK or international retail partners.

Looking ahead: coastal expressions on the horizon
Berry Bros. & Rudd is already teasing the second half of the year’s release. The Coast & Shores series, slated for Autumn 2024, will spotlight whiskies and rums inspired by and produced in some of the world’s most iconic coastal landscapes. This second part of the collection promises to deliver maritime character, salinity, and a sense of place in every dram.
The combination of landscape-driven themes, expert cask finishing, and strategic distribution channels underlines Berry Bros. & Rudd’s position at the forefront of the premium spirits market. With the addition of its physical retail presence and a growing global reach, the merchant is not only preserving its legacy but expanding it—one meticulously curated bottle at a time.
