Casa Noble has unveiled its most exclusive release to date: Marqués de Casa Noble, an ultra-premium Tequila created to meet the growing global appetite for high-end agave spirits. The limited-edition añejo joins the brand’s portfolio at a time when consumer interest in luxury Tequila is accelerating, especially in markets such as the US and UK.
Crafted from 100% Blue Weber Agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico, the rare expression reflects Casa Noble’s continued commitment to quality, sustainability, and heritage. According to founder and master tequilero José “Pepe” Hermosillo, the release goes far beyond product innovation—it’s a celebration of Mexico’s cultural richness and artisanal craft.
A refined Tequila for sipping, not mixing
“The public’s palate is evolving,” Hermosillo told The Drinks Business, explaining that modern consumers are seeking more refined, complex spirits for sipping, not just mixing. “We’ve seen a growing interest in craft Tequila amongst consumers over the years. Marqués de Casa Noble excites those seeking a more refined and complex sipping experience.”
Each bottle of Marqués de Casa Noble is the result of meticulous production and blending. The rare añejo is aged in hand-crafted French oak barrels from the Allier region, which are forest-aged for two years before use. Hermosillo personally oversees each stage of the production process to ensure the final product reflects the brand’s standards of balance, smoothness, and complexity.
The final blend includes 12 extra añejos and nine añejos, each aged for up to five years. The result is a Tequila described as “rich and silky,” featuring notes of cooked agave, ripe fruits, vanilla, peach, roasted nuts, and hints of white chocolate, almond, and pecan on the finish.
Sustainability at the heart of Casa Noble
Casa Noble has long been a pioneer in sustainable Tequila production. The distillery was the first to be certified organic by California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF), a testament to its avoidance of chemical treatments in its agave fields and its transparent field-to-bottle process.
Hermosillo emphasised that Marqués de Casa Noble is not just a luxurious spirit but a continuation of Casa Noble’s values. “Each step of the Tequila-making process was carefully planned and executed over the course of many years to create this unmatched spirit,” he said. “We aimed to create a spirit that is not just complex and premium but also sippable—something to be enjoyed alongside life’s best moments.”
A strategic play in a shifting spirits market
The launch of Marqués de Casa Noble aligns with broader trends in the global spirits market. With Cognac sales experiencing a slowdown—particularly in the US—premium Tequila has emerged as a strong contender, buoyed by its versatility, diverse expressions, and rapidly growing global fanbase.
Jose Luis Hermoso, research director at IWSR, noted that Tequila now offers “scale, diversity and versatility” across a wide range of price points. As the cost of agave continues to fall, analysts suggest the category could soon experience a new boom in both production volume and quality.
With this in mind, Casa Noble’s latest release places the brand firmly within the premium and luxury Tequila space. It also reflects the shift in consumer behaviour towards sipping spirits with depth, complexity, and craftsmanship.
Limited release and UK distribution
Marqués de Casa Noble will be distributed exclusively in the UK by Marussia Beverages and will be available for a limited time only. With demand for high-end agave spirits showing no sign of slowing, this release represents not just a new benchmark for Casa Noble, but a signal of where the Tequila category is headed.
For collectors, connoisseurs, and anyone seeking a luxury Tequila launch that captures both heritage and innovation, Marqués de Casa Noble delivers a compelling and highly drinkable statement.
